All farmers rearing animals for the brand Friland must observe specific Codes of Practice drawn up in a co-operation between Friland A/S and the Danish Animal Welfare Society. All farmers are authorized and continuously controlled by the impartial control body, DB Control. The Danish Animal Welfare Society has awarded the products there logo label "recommended by the Danish Animal Welfare Society".
